19 weeks! Almost halfway done!

How far along? 19 weeks!

How big is baby?  A Mango!  Huge!
Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don't be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

Maternity clothes?  So necessary.  Some maternity clothes, especially my maternity dresses make me look positively HUGE!!

Sleep?  Doing pretty good. I think I figured out sleeping on my side.

Best moment this week?  I think my pregnant belly is obvious now.   People are starting to offer me their seat on the bus, even a 70 year old lady!  I said no to her.

Food cravings:   Mexican Food.

Sex of the Baby:  I can't wait to know!  2 weeks will drag...

Belly button in or out? In

Movement:  I've been feeling something that I think is movement.  I'm 90% sure...
What I miss?    Still wine...

What I'm looking forward to:   Wednesday for our next ob appointment. I love hearing our baby's heart beat!

Whoops!  Forgot some pictures.  Doesn't look like much from the front...

But from the side,  WOWSA!
