21 weeks! Vegas Bump!
How big is baby? A Banana!
Baby gulps down several ounces of amniotic fluid every day, both for hydration and nutrition and to practice swallowing and digesting. And, these days, those taste buds actually work! Studies show that after birth, babies are most interested in tastes they're already experienced through amniotic fluid. Meaning, think about what you want your future child to eat as you prepare your own lunch. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now.
Maternity clothes? I might have to buy some new pants in a couple of weeks!
Sleep? Doing pretty good these days!
Best moment this week? Ameliott is a big kicker/roller/jabber! Especially after I eat something sweet. I can't wait until they are strong enough for Rob to feel.
Food cravings: Rob and I satisfied a steak craving last night. Yum!
Sex of the Baby: We're finding out on April 6!
Belly button in or out? In
Movement: Clear, definite and every day!
What I miss? Wine.
What I'm looking forward to: Finding out the sex of our baby!
