Ameliott's big anatomy scan has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 6 for the last month. I tried rescheduling it a few times because it is much later than average. Most people have their ultrasounds around 19-21 weeks pregnant. I will be over 23 weeks! So annoying!
Anyhow, given the length of the scheduling process, I do not want to cancel the appointment for any reason. A complication, however, has developed. Rob, the brilliant boy that he is, has had/will have three in person interviews at community colleges across the country! Two in Virginia, and one in Illinois! He's currently in Virginia waiting for interview number two! Next week....on Thursday....he has interview number three in Chicago. Unfortunately, he will be flying to Chicago on Wednesday! Two hours before our anatomy ultrasound!
Here is the new plan: I am going to go to the ultrasound by myself. This totally sucks, but c'est la vie! I am going to ask the ultrasound tech to write the sex of the baby on a piece of paper. Rob and I will then open up the envelope on Saturday night at a nice dinner out.
