Scott's due date is THIS month!!

Wow!  I seriously cannot believe that it is July.   Scott's due date is officially THIS month.  The last day of the month,  but still  THIS month!!

Our baby boy can come anytime (not sooner! knock on wood!)  between July 10 (37 weeks) and July 31 (40 weeks),  and he would be considered full term.  Rob and I are hoping for a birth date between July 20 and July 25 since Rob must be in Virginia absolutely no later than August 16.    We REALLY do not want him to come before July 18, though, because Rob is flying to Virginia on July 14 (returning July 17) to find us a place to live. 

Our doctor will induce if I reach August 7 (41 weeks, 1 day).   I'd really prefer not to be induced,  but in our situation we really don't have a choice.

Rob and I also had an appointment with a pediatrician yesterday, and we asked about the age a baby can fly for the first time.  The doctor said that in a perfect world,  a baby under six weeks wouldn't fly,  but that since we were in a pinch,  everything should be fine.  He suggested that we call airlines to check into their policies. I contacted United Airlines and found out that a baby can fly if he is older than one week without a doctor's note.  Before then,  he'd need the note.  I'll bring a copy of the birth certificate just in case.

This is all working out great, and a lot of anxiety has been lifted off my mind.   But WOW! We could have a baby by the end of the month!
