We have been feeding Scott solid foods for about 1 month now. So far, he loves banana, sweet potato, pear, carrots, peas, and whole grain baby cereal. He did not like squash. I have been making my own baby food using a simple Cuisinart food processor. It is so easy and so economical. It is also great for Scott since I can control exactly what is in the food I serve him.
The only problem: constipation. Some weeks (like this one) solid foods bring on terrible constipation that lead to terrible night-time sleeping. Ugh. Momma is tired; baby is tired! Two days ago, I introduced Scott to prunes. It helped. The new plan: prunes at least every other day to help prevent any issues in advance.
Moms: what are you doing to help avoid constipation? What's working for you??
