Scott's First Christmas

Scott turned five months just five days before Christmas.  Our little boy...big boy... is now 18 pounds!  To celebrate the season,  we traveled quite a bit to see two grandfathers, one grandmother, two aunts, two uncles, three cousins, and many many second cousins etc.

We popped the Christmas crackers.

We first flew from Virginia to California to see my parents and my sister/brother-in-law for a pre-Christmas Christmas. Present highlights: train conductor overalls/hat to match his train set purchased by Mom and Dad.

Scott also visited the beach for the first time: an important first for his "California Girl" Mommy.   He even wore one of his Christmas presents (a California grizzly bear flag t-shirt) for the occasion.

After that, we flew to Chicago to visit Rob's family.  I  went downtown to see the Christmas shop windows with Aunt Kelly and niece Alex.  Scott stayed home for cousin fun.

On Christmas Eve, Scott met more of his extended family (Great Aunt and Uncle, second cousins, etc). On Christmas Day,  he was again spoiled with toys, clothes, and sweet potato.





Whew!  Our little guy has now visited 8 states:

1.)  California
2.) Virginia
3.) Maryland
4.) West Virginia
5.) Pennsylvania
6.) Ohio
7.) Minnesota
8.) Illinois

Rob and I were so tired when we got home. We fell fast asleep @ 12:30 after a lovely bottle of Moet and Chandon on New Year's Eve. Happy 2012!
